Quick Tortilla Chips

I absolutely love having sides for a soupy bowl!!! And specially when I grab a bowl on one of the cold days… :) My regular readers know that I’m on a soupy marathon… Recently I have posted many recipes of soups & salads and of course, I will keep posting until I feel I’ve reduced a kilo or 2!!! Hahaha… and that’s something never gonna happen :P Jokes apart, it’s chilly winter here and I have to stick to some hot warming bowls or plates only.

And when I simmered a spicy soup last time, I baked these quick tortilla chips to go along! Absolutely no recipe to follow… I used a shortcut too :D

  1. Take 2 tortillas and cut into strips (thin triangles or straight chips).
  2. Apply some olive oil over it using a pastry brush and sprinkle some salt & herbs or cayenne pepper.
  3. Bake in oven for 10-12 mins or until they are crisp and golden brown…
  4. That’s pretty much it :)

And those potatoes you see here are ‘Herb Roasted Baby Potatoes‘!!! :)
