Thaali Menu-10

After thinking a lot over it, I’ve come up with a plan to re-activate my thaali series (kind of meal plans) on this blog :) Such meal plans has always been my 1st help and I hope it works out well for you too! Over last few months, I have been craving for full meals in dinner… and yes, since I paused my work, I have been cooking everything I want to eat! You’ll clearly see the results on this thaali series now onwards…

10

You can check previously posted thaalis here. And today, I’m here with the menu-10 which consists of:

A pure gujju curry it is! Baby eggplants cooked with potatoes and pigeon peas… and that yummy dry spice-mix which can be used in many more dishes too!!!

Nothing can beat the flavor of gujarati dal! The ultimate comfort food in every gujarati household… Little bit sweet and tangy dal is the best protein we can have :)

Do I need to say anything about this sweetdish? Absolutely not… Well yes, I must thank Khyati for her tip of adding a little beetroot while making this halwa, just to get that rich red color :)

Staple food… I love thin, super-soft and fully puffed up rotis with any gravy/curry! It’s a bit tricky thing for a new-bee but very easy once you master the art of making roti ;)

  • Peas Pulao

No gujarati wedding is complete without peas pulao… A fragrant, long grained rice with lots of green peas (Fresh or frozen)!!!

  • Gol Keri

And that gol keri is a sweet mango pickle, which is homemade by my maami ;)

Do let me know if you plan to cook this meal and yes, next thaali is coming up soon ;)
