Mango-Orange Juice
“Summer summer… Please come!” I only know how much I longed for this season… Although I love windy winter, I always want summer to be back (not the ending summer though) ;) I love that beautiful sunshine… And that makes me pack all my jackets/sweaters in a bag and put them away for a few months… And not to mention, how much I love pulling out my bags of shorts/dresses!!! This time, it’s even more special… I got a bag full from India last year and haven’t got a chance to unpack those ;) Yeyyyyy… New stuff for the new season!
As I said, I love summer when it starts… But the ending makes me go mad :( Super hot climate doesn’t let me stand in my kitchen for more than a few mins, doesn’t allow me to enjoy a cup of hot ginger tea, doesn’t inspire me to get up from couch of living room n step outside… :( Tough thing… It’s a package deal then! Hahaha…
But I definitely can make a glass jug/bottle full of some thirst quencher and put it in refrigerator so that I can have it chilled whenever I want! And that I have to get it done by afternoon time… Well, that’s the perfect way to beat the heat in style ;)
INGREDIENTS:
1 Mango, peeled n cubed
Juice of 3 Oranges
1 tbsp Fennel Powder
1-2 tbsp Sugar, as required
Salt, to taste
Mint Leaves, chopped
STEPS TO FOLLOW:
- Grind mango cubes in a mixture jar to make a smooth puree.
- Take it out in a jar and add orange juice along with water to make a juice consistency.
- Add rest of all the ingredients and stir well.
- Keep that in refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours.
- Serve chilled!!!
I too love the warm days, but as you said the end summers are worst and you really wish winter starts soon. This juice is perfect for the weather now, very refreshing!
