Choco-Orange Truffles
Last 2 weeks had been a chaos… Packing & moving everything to our new place, too many cake orders on hand, unpacking in the following week and again too many cake orders to work on!!! Huh… Still a few boxes left unpacked in a corner of one room but I’m happy that we coped up with everything smoothly :)
Haven’t got a chance to click/cook anything special since we moved :( But I’m getting back on track now… Trying to be regular on blog again! And here I’m starting with a sweet note which was pending since long… “Choco-Orange Truffles”, picture of which I posted on 4th bloganniversary celebration day without a recipe :P
What I love about these sweet balls is… I get to use all the unused cake crumbs :P
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups Chocolate Cake Crumbs (leftover)
2 tsp Melted Butter
A pinch of Salt
1/2 tsp Orange Zest
3-4 drops Orange Extract
1/4 to 1/2 cup Fresh Orange Juice
1-2 tbsp Chopped Almonds
STEPS TO FOLLOW:
- Take all the ingredients in a big bowl and mix them well.
- Knead a soft dough by adding orange juice gradually as required.
- Divide it in 10 equal portions and make balls out of them.
- Serve chilled!
SJ’s NOTE:
You can use your choice of nuts for a nutty crunch i.e. Pecans, Walnuts, Cashewnuts, Pistachios etc :)
Yum :)

Easy peasy lemon squeazy :)
Super recipe for those cake crumbs that nobody likes to eat!
This is the best way to make use of all your crumbs from your orders… :) Hope you are all settled now…
