Sneak Peek: ‘Night Noodles Market’
Being a big-time street-food lover, I always imagined myself having it on streets here! And finally, I got to experience something similar for the 1st time :) We visited ‘Night Noodles Market’, which was hosted for the 1st time in city in last month. Stream of activities used to start at 5 pm on weekdays and 4 pm on weekends!
Smoke, Roast, Grill, Sizzle, Steam, Fry… I play with these words in my kitchen every now n then! But I never wanted to miss a chance to see them all together, that too on a large basis, at open-air stalls. Aroma of grilling meat or steaming dumplings were enticing 1000s of people to try out the freshest and tastiest food. Many of popular eating joints like Aangan, Chin Chin, Longrain, Mamak were serving their best dishes in hawker’s way! Starting from variety of BBQ skewers to popular Indian chaat varieties, dashing desserts to a wide range of bars… Of course, food-trucks were never to be missed!
I wasn’t well-aware about the exact start-end dates of the event, but got to read the news in headlines that around 25,000 people got to visit this place on the first day itself… And I visited on 5th day, huh!!! At least I got to visit some ‘Street-Food Festival’ here :P Here are some dishes from various stalls in the event…
